Welcome to my Genius Hour blog. What I am learning about is this great opportunity for students to engage in this Genius hour movement that allows students to explore their own passions and encourages creativity in the classroom. The way this happens is that students are given the choice of what they want to learn in the classroom. This set period of time (approx. 20%) during the day allows them to work on project that they want to help boost creativity and independence. Personally I think it's a great experience for the students and teachers. Keep up the good work everyone!
